"The Wizard of the Kremlin" is a political drama directed by Olivier Assayas ("Clouds of Sils Maria", "Personal Shopper") from a script he co-wrote alongside Emmanuel Carrere ("Between Two Worlds", "The Moustache") based on the 2022 novel by Giuliano da Empoli.

The cast includes Jude Law as Vladimir Putin, Paul Dano, Alicia Vikander, Will Keen, Tom Sturridge and Jeffrey Wright. The film premiered at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Golden Lion. It was released in select theaters on May 15, 2026 and via streaming on June 16, 2026.
