The fourth season of the anime series "Ascendance of a Bookworm" ("Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke") has premiered on April 4, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll. The show is based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name written by Miya Kazuki and illustrated by You Shiina.

Yoshiaki Iwasaki is the new director at WIT Studio, with Mariko Kunisawa returning to write the series composition, Aiko Minowa ("Love Through a Prism") handling character designs, and Michiru is writing the music.

The opening theme song is "Pages" by Little Glee Monster and the ending theme song is "Ima mo, Arigatou" performed by Erika Ikuta. The voice cast includes Yuka Iguchi, Show Hayami, Takehito Koyasu, Mutsumi Tamura, Yuuma Uchida, Kazuhiko Inoue and Touyama Nao. The English dub features Reba Buhr, Armen Taylor, Christopher Wehjamp, Sky Santacruz, Allison Hill, Ariana Nicole George and Bill Butts.
