Rilakkuma Anime Series Trailers Images Poster

"Rilakkuma" is a new short form anime series based on the character created by Aki Kondo and produced by the Japanese company San-X. Episode run-time will be around 10 minutes. Rilakkuma was previously adapted into the 2019 stop-motion animation series "Rilakkuma and Kaoru", which streams on Netflix.

Yoshimi Itazu and Yumi Kamakura direct the series at animation studio Production I.G, with Chie Morita handling character designs and music composed by Kota Yokoseki, Yoshiya Ikeda and Mizuki Kanno.

The first part of the series is titled "Goyururi Yume no Tabi" ("A Liesurely Dream Journey"). YOASOBI vocalist Lilas Ikuta performs the theme song "Stay With Me" and provides narration for the series.

"Rilakkuma" has premiered on April 4, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll.
