Product Description: SPANISH: Unos forasteros llegan a pescar a Janitzio, donde Zirahuén, indígena con derecho exclusivo, mata a uno en una pelea. Manuel, un especulador, ignora las advertencias de don Pablo y abusa de los lugareños, imponiendo precios injustos. Al reclamar, Zirahuén es encarcelado, y Manuel ofrece liberarlo si Eréndira, su novia, pasa unos días con él. Tras salir, Zirahuén descubre la verdad, mata a Manuel y perdona a Eréndira. Sin embargo, Tacha, celosa, incita al pueblo, que mata a Eréndira a pedradas según la tradición. Zirahuén se hunde en el lago junto a su cuerpo.
ENGLISH: Some outsiders come to fish at Janitzio, where Zirahuén, an indigenous man with exclusive rights, kills one of them in a fight. Manuel, a speculator, ignores Don Pablo's warnings and exploits the locals, imposing unfair prices. When he complains, Zirahuén is imprisoned, and Manuel offers to release him if Eréndira, his girlfriend, spends a few days with him. After getting out, Zirahuén discovers the truth, kills Manuel, and forgives Eréndira. However, Tacha, jealous, incites the village, which stones Eréndira to death according to tradition. Zirahuén sinks into the lake alongside her body.
