Black Torch Anime Series Trailers Clips Featurette Images Posters

"Black Torch" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsuyoshi Takaki, which was serialized in Shueisha's monthly shōnen manga magazine Jump Square from December 2016 to March 2018, and later on the digital platform Shōnen Jump+ from April to July 2018. In North America, the manga was licensed for English release by Viz Media.

The anime is directed by Kei Umabiki ("Quality Assurance in Another World Opens) at 100studio, with series composition by Gigaemon Ichikawa ("The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made"), character designs by Go Suzuki ("Sword Art Online: Alicization") and music by Yutaka Yamada ("VINLAND SAGA").

The opening theme song is "Freeze Me Up", performed by SiM, and the ending theme song is "Groooovy", performed by I Don't Like Mondays. The cast includes Ryota Suzuki, Yoji Ueda, Sayaka Senbongi, Junya Enoki, Junichi Suwabe, Reina Ueda, Toshiyuki Morikawa, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Shinpachi Tsuji, Yuko Kaida, and Hochu Otsuka.

The English dub features AJ Beckles, Ben Balmaceda, Ben Diskin, Erin Yvette, Keith Silverstein, Kellen Goff, Kyle McCarley, Mick Lauer, Ben Diskin and Mick Lauer.

"Black Torch" premiered on July 4, 2026 and streams on Crunchyroll.
