"Summer of 36" ("L'Ete 36") is a historical thriller miniseries created by Marie Deshaires and Catherine Touzet. Blending historical context with an Agatha Christie-style murder mystery, the show is set on the French Riviera during the introduction of France's first paid vacations, and it follows four women from different social classes who become entangled in a murder at the luxurious Riviera Hotel in Nice.

The six-episode limited series is an international co-production between TF1, Netflix, RTL Belgium, and RTS. The cast includes Julie De Bona, Sofia Essaïdi, Nolwenn Leroy, Constance Gay, François-Xavier Demaison, Miou-Miou, Pascal Elbé, Sam Karmann and Constance Dollé.

"Summer of 36" premiered on July 1, 2026 via Netflix.
