Goodbye Lara Anime Series Trailers Clips Images Posters

"Goodbye, Lara" is a new original anime series created and animated by Kinema Citrus. Takushi Koide directs, with Shiori Tani providing character designs, Anna Kawahara handling series composition and Yuma Yamaguchi composing the music. The show is a modern reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid".

The opening theme song is "Sayonara Lara" performed by Ikimonogakari, while the ending theme song is "Hearts Glow", performed by Hana Hope. The voice cast includes Hana Hishikawa, Nana Kawaishi, Rika Fukami, Ayumu Murase, Tomohiro Ono, Mitsuaki Madono, Nanae Sumitomo and Masaki Terasoma.

The English dub features Brianna Knickerbocker, Anairis Quiñones, Tiana Camacho, Cat Protano, Tara Sands, Brook Chalmers, Madeline Dorroh and Kieran Regan.

"Goodbye, Lara" premiered on July 6, 2026 and streams on Crunchyroll.
