"The Dog Stars" is a post-apocalyptic thriller directed by Ridley Scott ("Blade Runner", "Alien", "Gladiator") from a script by Mark L. Smith ("The Revenant") based on the 2012 novel by Peter Heller. The cast features Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, and Guy Pearce. The film opened in theaters on August 20, 2026.
