NeoCore Games has released a new trailer for their upcoming action RPG "Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr". The game is set in an open world, namely the Calgari sector of the Segmentum Tempestus, and players will start out in one of its many subsectors.
The trailer offers an in-depth look at the many systems, planets and subsectors that form the massive sandbox where the player will carry out both the single-player campaign, randomized missions, as well as "specifically tailored missions" that will be part of the "Grand Investigations".
The developers also tease the so-called "seasons", free content patches that will introduce new enemy types, conflicts and investigations. Each season will run for a limited amount of time, and then "they will be resolved, depending on how the Inquisitors of the Caligari Conclave decide on certain matters". I'm not quite sure what they're going on about, but it sounds delightful.
"Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr" will be released sometime next year.
Check out the trailer after the jump.
