"Man and Machine" Two-Part Featurette for ROBOCOP

A new two-part making of featurette has been released for the "RoboCop" remake. The filmmakers explore the technological and moral aspects of turning man into machine and offer plenty of new footage from the remake. This is a solid indication that a lot of thought has been given to the story's more profound details, which is required in order to update the story and make it relevant in today's cultural and scientific background. The film stars Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Jay Baruchel, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Michael K. Williams, Jennifer Ehle, Samuel L. Jackson and Jackie Earle Haley.

"RoboCop" opens in theaters on February 12th.

New International Clip for the ROBOCOP Remake

A new international clip has been released for Jose Padilha's "RoboCop" remake. The clip shows RoboCop (Joel Kinnaman) on his RoboBike tracking down some criminal on the streets of Detroit. While the remake opens in theaters next week, some early reviews have surfaced and they are generally mixed, indicating that director Padilha manages to deliver an okay update for the 1987 original in terms of technology and character exploration, but it's too light on action, violence and satire. The film also stars Abbie Cornish, Jay Baruchel, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Michael K. Williams, Jennifer Ehle, Samuel L. Jackson and Jackie Earle Haley.

"RoboCop" opens in theaters on February 12th.
