"The Equalizer" is a new action crime drama series created by Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim based on the 1980s series of the same name, which was previously adapted into the 2014 film that starred Denzel Washington.

The series stars Queen Latifah as an enigmatic woman and single mother with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. The cast also includes Tory Kittles, Adam Goldberg, Chris Noth, Liza Lapira, Laya DeLeon and Lorraine Toussaint.

"The Equalizer" premiered on February 7, 2021 on CBS.

REBIRTH Netflix Movie Trailer and Images

Netflix has begun a collaboration with various filmmakers to release a series of indie films. The first of these films is the psychological thriller "Rebirth".

The film's story follows a white-collar suburban father Kyle (Fran Kranz) who is surprised at his office by long-lost college buddy Zack (Adam Goldberg) and the two enter a rabbit hole of psychodrama, seduction and violence.

Written and directed by Karl Mueller ("The Divide"), the film also stars Nicky Whelan, Harry Hamlin, Andrew J West, Sheryl Lee, Pat Healy, Eric Ladin, Luis Geardo Méndez and Steve Agee.

"Rebirth" will premiere on July 15th.
