New A UNITED KINGDOM Trailer, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

The British drama "A United Kingdom" is based on the true story of Seretse Khama (David Oyelowo), Prince of Botswana, who fell in love with London office worker Ruth Williams (Rosamund Pike) in 1948, and their marriage caused an international scandal. They were opposed by both the British and South African governments in the early days of the apartheid.

The film is directed by Amma Asante ("Belle") from a script by Guy Hibbert ("Eye in the Sky") based on the novel "Colour Bar" written by Susan Williams. Tom Felton, Jack Davenport, Laura Carmichael and Jessica Oyelowo co-star.

"A United Kingdom" opened in theaters in the U.S. on February 10th in limited release. It received generally positive reviews.

Kerry Washington and Kate Hudson to Star in Thriller UNFORGETTABLE

Kerry Washington ("Scandal") and Kate Hudson ("Almost Famous") are in early talks to star in the thriller "Unforgettable" for Warner Bros. The film is directed by Amma Asante ("Belle") and it focuses on a man whose new wife (Washington) is being threatened by his ex-wife (Hudson). The script is being written by Christina Hodson.

Washington is currently preparing to film the comedy "Is He The One" in which she stars as a woman who flashes back to three major relationships of her life as she prepares for her wedding day.

Hudson will star alongside Ewan McGregor in the comedy "Born to Be King" and will also star in Barry Levinson's "Rock the Kasbah" which will be released next year.

BELLE (2014) - 6 New Movie Clips

Six new movie clips have been released for the period drama "Belle". Gugu Mbatha-Raw ("Larry Crowne") stars as the illegitimate, mixed-race daughter of a Captain in the Royal Navy who finds her unique social standing to be instrumental in the campaign to end slavery in England after meeting an idealistic young vicar's son. Amma Asante ("A Way of Life") directs from a script by Misan Sagay ("Their Eyes Were Watching God"). The cast also features Matthew Goode, Emily Watson, Miranda Richardson, Tom Wilkinson, Sam Reid, Sarah Gadon and Tom Felton.

Belle opens in theaters on May 2nd (limited).

The first trailer and poster for the drama Belle have been released. The film is directed by Amma Asante (A Way of Life) from a script by Misan Sagay (Their Eyes Were Watching God). Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Larry Crowne) stars as the illegitimate, mixed-race daughter of a Captain in the Royal Navy who finds her unique social standing to be instrumental in the campaign to end slavery in England after meeting an idealistic young vicar's son. Also starring Matthew Goode, Emily Watson, Miranda Richardson, Tom Wilkinson, Sam Reid, Sarah Gadon and Tom Felton, Belle will have a limited release in theaters on May 2, 2014.
