"The Courier" is a fact-based historical drama directed by Dominic Cooke ("The Hollow Crown") from a script by Tom O'Connor ("The Hitman's Bodyguard").
The film tells the true story of the British businessman (Benedict Cumberbatch) who helped MI6 penetrate the Soviet nuclear programme during the Cold War. Rachel Brosnahan, Jessie Buckley, Merab Ninidze, Angus Wright and Kirill Pirogov co-star.
"The Courier" was released in the U.S. on March 19, 2021. It will be released in the U.K. on May 17, 2021.
