The third season of the coming-of-age dramedy series "Atypical" has premiered on November 1, 2019 via Netflix. Created by "How I Met Your Mother" writer/producer Robia Rashid, the show follows Sam (Keir Gilchrist), an 18-year-old on the autistic spectrum as he searches for love and independence.
In the new season, Sam begins life as a college student. The cast also features Jennifer Jason Leigh, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Michael Rapaport and Amy Okuda. Sara Gilbert and Eric McCormack join the new season's cast as university professors.
