Directed by Bruce Macdonald and Gabriel Sabloff, the Pure Flix biblical drama "Samson" stars Taylor James as the titular protagonist, a young Hebrew with Supernatural strength who embarks on a quest for vengeance that brings him into direct conflict with the Philistine army.
The film also stars Jackson Rathbone, Billy Zane, Caitlin Leahy, Lindsay Wagner and Rutger Hauer.
"Samson" opened in theaters on February 16, 2018 and received mostly negative reviews from critics, who called it a "bargain-bin biblical epic". It grossed $1.9 million in its opening weekend at the box-office but failed to make the Top 10.
