"Plainclothes" is a drama written and directed by Carmen Emmi in his feature debut. The film stars Tom Blyth, Russell Tovey, Maria Dizzia, Christian Cooke, Gabe Fazio, Amy Forsyth and John Bedford Lloyd. It premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, opened in select theaters on September 19th, and was released via streaming on November 4th.

BARKSKINS Series Trailer, Featurette, Images and Posters

"Barkskins" is a new historical drama series created by Elwood Reid based on the novel of the same name by Annie Proulx. The show chronicles the deforestation of the New World from the arrival of Europeans into the contemporary era of global warming through the stories of two immigrants to New France, René Sel and Charles Duquet, who work as wood-cutters – barkskins – and of their descendants.

The cast features Aneurin Barnard, Christian Cooke, David Thewlis, Marcia Gay Harden, James Bloor, Lily Sullivan, Tallulah Haddon and Kaniehtiio Horn.

"Barkskins" premiered on May 25, 2020 on National Geographic.
