The film is a sequel to the iconic 1984 film "This Is Spinal Tap", and it stars Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, who are reprising their roles as members of the fictional heavy metal band Spinal Tap. The film opened in theaters on September 12, 2025.
