"Hell Fest" is a horror film directed by "Get Out" and "Happy Death Day" editor Gregory Plotkin and produced by Gale Anne Hurd ("The Walking Dead"). Plotkin also directed another horror film, "Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension".
The film is set in the titular horror themed amusement park, where a masked serial killer terrorizes a group of friends, while the rest of the audience believes it's all part of the show. The cast features Bex Taylor-Klaus, Reign Edwards, Amy Forsyth, Courtney Dietz, Christian James, Matt Mercurio and Tony Todd.
"Hell Fest" opened in theaters on September 28, 2018 and received mostly negative reviews from critics. It opened with $5 million at the box-office, from 2,297 theaters, against a $5.5 million budget.
