The second season of the anime series "Call of the Night" premiered on July 4, 2025 on HIDIVE. Tomoyuki Itamura is back as director for studio LIDEN FILMS, with Michiko Yokote on scripts, Haruka Sagawa on character designs and Yoshiaki Dewa on music. Izumi Takizawa and Nao Miyoshi serve as assistant directors for the sequel.
The series is based on a manga by Kotoyama ("Dagashi Kashi"), which ran in Shonen Sunday magazine between August 2019 and January 2024. VIZ Media publishes the manga's official English version.
The opening and closing songs are "Mirage" and "Nemure" by hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts. The voice cast includes Ko Yamori, Nazuna Nanakusa, Akira Asai, Seri Kikyou, Niko Hirata, Anko Uguisu, Kabura Honda, Midori Kohakobe, Haru Nanakusa, Kiku Hoshimi and Mahiru Seki.
