"Tiny Pretty Things" is a drama series created by Michael MacLennan based on the novel of the same name by Sona Charaipotra. The show follows the world of an elite ballet academy, and charts the rise and fall of young adults who live far from their homes, each standing on the verge of greatness or ruin. The cast includes Brennan Clost, Barton Cowperthwaite, Damon J. Gillespie, Kylie Jefferson, Casimere Jollette, Anna Maiche, Daniela Norman and Lauren Holly.

"Tiny Pretty Things" premiered on December 14, 2020 on Netflix.

"Rise" is a new musical drama series from "Parenthood" and "Friday Night Lights" producer Jason Katimis that is based on the fact based book "Drama High: The Incredible True Story of a Brilliant Teacher, a Struggling Town, and the Magic of Theater" written by Michael Sokolove.

The show follows an English teacher (Josh Radnor) at a small town high school who takes over the school's theater department and mounts a big musical production, bringing excitement and inspiration to their working-class town. The cast also includes Auli'i Cravalho, Damon J. Gillespie, Amy Forsyth, Rarmian Newton, Casey Johnson, Ellie Desautels, Shannon Purser and Rosie Perez.

"Rise" premiered on March 13, 2018 on NBC and received mixed reviews from critics.
