The new political drama series "Pearson" is a spinoff of the USA series "Suits". Created by Aaron Korsh and Daniel Arkin, the show stars Gina Torres as powerhouse lawyer Jessica Pearson, who enters the dirty world of Chicago politics. The cast also includes Bethany Joy Lenz, Morgan Spector, Chantel Riley, Isabel Arraiza, Eli Goree and Simon Kassianides.
"Pearson" premiered on July 17, 2019, on the same day as the premiere of the ninth and final season of "Suits".
