"Sunnyside" is a new comedy series created by Kal Penn ("Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle") and "Saturday Night Live" writer Matt Murray. Penn also stars in the show as Garrett Modi, a former city councilman whose career was ruined by drug charges and ultimately finds his calling when faced with immigrants in need of his help and in search of the American Dream. Diana-Maria Riva, Joel Kim Booster, Kiran Deol, Poppy Liu and Moses Storm co-star.
"Sunnyside" premiered on September 26, 2019 on NBC.
