The crime drama "Superfly" is a remake of the 1972 blaxploitation film of the same name. Directed by Director X (Julien Christian Lutz) from a script by Alex Tse ("Watchmen"), the film stars Trevor Jackson as a successful young drug dealer who is looking to get out of the Atlanta drug scene and sets his sights on one last big deal. Jason Mitchell, Lex Scott Davis, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jennifer Morrison, Kaalan Walker, Esai Morales and Andrea Londo co-star.

"Superfly" opened in theaters on June 13, 2018 and received mixed-to-negative reviews. The film is expected to bring in around $10 million over the film's first five days in theaters.
