The winners of the 2021 Directors Guild Awards were revealed on Saturday. The evening's top honor was awarded to Chloe Zhao for "Nomadland". Zhao became the first woman of color to win the DGA's feature directing prize, and it further consolidates the film's chances at the upcoming Oscars. Darisu Marder won the first-time directing award for Amazon Studios' "Sound of Metal". In the television categories, the winners include "Homeland, "The Flight Attendant" and "The Queen's Gambit".
