The 12th season of the British sci-fi series has premiered on January 1, 2020. Chris Chibnall serves as head writer and executive producer once again. Jodie Whittaker returns for her second season as the Thirteenth Doctor alongside Ryan (Tosin Cole), Yasmin (Mandip Gill) and Graham (Bradley Walsh). Season 12's ten episodes are directed by Jamie Magnus Stone, Lee Haven Jones, Nida Manzoor and Emma Sullivan.
