beauty-and-the-beast-2017-clips-featurettes-images-and-posters

Disney's latest live-action remake, "Beauty and the Beast" is now in theaters, so here are all the clips, featurettes, images and posters released until now.

The film is a somewhat faithful retelling of the studio's 1991 animated version of the "Tale As Old As Time", but it also adds new elements that fans should appreciate, including four new songs composed by Alan Menken, with lyrics by Tim Rice. It also sparked some controversy when it was revealed that Josh Gad's character, LeFou, is gay, prompting boycotts from several conservative groups. Russia was also very close to banning it, but ultimately chose to only increase its age classification.

The cast features Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Kevin Kline, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Audra McDonald and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The film received mostly mixed reviews. While there was a lot of praise for the film's cast and lavish production, many complained that it's ultimately an unnecessary and underwhelming remake.

regression-movie-clips-images-posters

Alejandro Amenábar's thriller "Regression" begins a limited run in theaters this week and we have seven new clips, twenty-seven images and seven posters for your viewing pleasure.

Amenábar has had great results with films like "The Others", "The Sea Inside", "Abre Los Ojos" and even "Agora", but this one is just a puzzling entry in the filmmaker's resume. The movie has been receiving some incredibly poor reviews in which critics complain about the lack of tension and surprise, the overly serious tone and a preposterous plot.

The film stars Ethan Hawke, Emma Watson, David Dencik, David Thewlis, Dale Dickey, Lothaire Bluteau and Devon Bostick.

Christine Taylor Picture
It was confirmed today that Christine Taylor will return in the role of journalist Matilda Jeffries for "Zoolander 2". The actress told EW that:

The sequel has been in the works for years, but it seems like this time it's actually moving forward. Penelope Cruz and Will Ferrell both signed on to star alongside Ben Stiller. Stiller co-wrote the script alongside Justin Theroux who will also direct.

Left with few options, Walsh teams up with an equally luckless geologist to execute a grandiose, last ditch effort: find gold deep in the unchartered jungle of Indonesia. Together, they embark on an incredible rollercoaster ride, journeying from Walsh’s sleepy mining town to the mysterious rivers banks of Borneo to the high stakes boardrooms of Wall Street, and culminating in one of the most unexpected and scandalous frauds of our time."

Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt is in talks to join Angelina Jolie's next directorial project "Africa". The film, described as a "sweeping epic" is a biopic of Richard Leakey, an African-born fossil hunter who fought against elephant and rhino poaching. The script has been written by Eric Roth ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"). The film is expected to start shooting this summer. Jolie spoke about the film in a recent interview:
"I’ve felt a deep connection to Africa and its culture for much of my life, and was taken with Eric’s beautiful script about a man drawn into the violent conflict with elephant poachers who emerged with a deeper understanding of man’s footprint and a profound sense of responsibility for the world around him."

Emma Watson
Disney is on a roll with their live-action adaptations. Last year we had "Maleficent", in March we've got the "Cinderella" movie coming out, and next year we're getting Jon Favreau's "The Jungle Book". So, here's another one.
