Paul Walker in Hours

The first trailer for Eric Heisserer's tense drama "Hours", starring Paul Walker and Genesis Rodriguez, is available for viewing online. The film follows a man, played by Walker, who must keep his premature newborn daughter safe and cope with the recent death of his wife during Hurricane Katrina. This proves to be a difficult task as the hospital they are in has been abandoned and a wide array of disasters and complications put his will to the test. The film looks appropriately intense and Walker is usually convincing in dramatic roles (see "Running Scared"). Only when it comes out will we be able to say if Heisserer's "Hours" is absurdly over-the-top, or a flash of cinematic genius. No release date has been scheduled, yet.
