"Everything Everywhere All At Once" was the big winner at the 95th Annual Academy Awards. The film won 7 trophies, including Best Picture, Director (Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert), Original Screenplay, Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan).
"All Quiet on the Western Front" missed out on the major awards (Picture, Director, Screenplay), but scored four wins (Best International Feature Film, Original Score, Cinematography and Production Design). A24's "The Whale" won Best Actor (Brendan Fraser) and Makeup.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences spread the wealth with the rest of its trophies: "Women Talking" won Best Adapted Screenplay, "Avatar: The Way of Water" scored a Visual Effects win, "Top Gun: Maverick" took home the trophy for Best Sound, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" nabbed the Costume Design award, and "RRR" won Best Original Song ("Naatu Naatu").
