Oscar Winners 2023 Everything Everywhere All At Once

"Everything Everywhere All At Once" was the big winner at the 95th Annual Academy Awards. The film won 7 trophies, including Best Picture, Director (Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert), Original Screenplay, Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan).

"All Quiet on the Western Front" missed out on the major awards (Picture, Director, Screenplay), but scored four wins (Best International Feature Film, Original Score, Cinematography and Production Design). A24's "The Whale" won Best Actor (Brendan Fraser) and Makeup.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences spread the wealth with the rest of its trophies: "Women Talking" won Best Adapted Screenplay, "Avatar: The Way of Water" scored a Visual Effects win, "Top Gun: Maverick" took home the trophy for Best Sound, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" nabbed the Costume Design award, and "RRR" won Best Original Song ("Naatu Naatu").

Wga Awards 2023 Winners Complete List

"Everything Everywhere All at Once" also won big at this year's Writers Guild of America Awards, taking home the award for Best Original Screenplay. Sarah Poley's "Women Talking" won Adapted Screenplay. Other winners include "Severance", "The Bear", "Better Call Saul" and "The White Lotus".

Independent Spirit Awards 2023 Winners

"Everything Everywhere All at Once" won top honors at the 38th Independent Spirit Wards. The film won Best Feature and six other trophies out of a total of eight nominations. In the television categories, FX's "The Bear" won Best New Scripted Series, and Apple TV's "Pachinko" won the Ensemble Cast in a New Scripted Series award.

Sag Awards 2023 Winners Everything Everywhere All At Once

The Screen Actors Guild of America unveiled the winners of their 29th annual awards. After the PGA and DGA wins, "Everything Everywhere All At Once" scored no less than four awards including Ensemble in a Motion Picture, and trophies for Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis. "Top Gun: Maverick" won Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture.

In the television categories, "The White Lotus" won Ensemble in a drama series, and the show's star Jennifer Coolidge won Female Actor in a Drama Series. Jason Bateman won Male Actor for "Ozark". ABC's "Abbott Elementary" took the trophy for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Other winners include Jean Smart for "Hacks", Jeremy Allen White for "The Bear", Sam Elliott for "1883" and Jessica Chastain for "George & Tammy".

Sally Field received the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Pga 2023 Winners Everything Everywhere All At Once

The winners of the 34th annual Producers Guild Awards have been announced. A24's "Everything Everywhere All at Once" won the PGA's Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures. HBO's "White Lotus" won the Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, while FX's "The Bear" won the Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television – Comedy. Hulu's "The Dropout" took home the Outstanding Producer of Limited or Anthology Series Television award. Tom Cruise received the David O. Selznick Achievement Award.

Dga Awards Winners 2023

The winners of the 75th annual Directors Guild Awards have been revealed, and top honors went to Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert, the helmers of "Everything Everywhere All at Once". In the television categories, the winners include Sam Levinson for "Euphoria", and Bill Hader for "Barry".

Wga Awards Film Nominations 2023 Complete List

The Writers Guild of America has announced the nominees for this year's film categories.

"Everything Everywhere All At Once", "The Fabelmans", "The Menu", "Nope" and "Tar" will compete for the Original Screenplay trophy, while "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", "Glass Onion", "She Said", "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Women Talking" are the contenders for the Adapted Screenplay award.

The film and TV winners will be honored at the 2023 Writers Guild Awards ceremonies on Sunday, March 5.

Oscar Nominations 2023 Complete List

The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards have been announced on Tuesday morning. The sci-fi film "Everything Everywhere All at Once" dominates this year with 11 nominations, including Best Picture, Director (Daniel Kwan, Daniel Scheinert), Lead Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan) and Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephanie Hsu). Germany's World War I drama "All Quiet on the Western Front", and Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin" follow closely behind with nine nominations each.

The musical biopic "Elvis" received eight nods. "Avatar the Way of Water" scored only four nominations, but managed to get into the Best Picture race. No nomination for James Cameron, though. "Top Gun: Maverick" nabbed six nominations, including Best Picture, but nothing for director Joseph Kosinski, or lead actor Tom Cruise.

Other Best Picture contenders include Steven Spielberg's "The Fabelmans" (7 nominations), Todd Field's "Tár" (6 nominations), and Ruben Östlund's "Triangle of Sadness" (3 nominations).

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the Oscar. The 95th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC.

Bafta Film Awards 2023 Nominations

The nominations for the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards have been announced. Netflix's German-language WWI drama "All Quiet on the Western Front" leads the pack with 14 nominations, including Best Film, equaling the BAFTAs non-English language film record previously set by Ang Lee's "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon", but also the record set by 2011's "The King's Speech".

Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin" and Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert's "Everything Everywhere All At Once" are tied with 10 nods each, while Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis" is close behind with 9 nominations. "Tar" scored 5 nods, including Best Leading Actress (Cate Blanchett).

Other contenders include "Aftersun", "The Batman", "Good Luck to You", "Leo Grande", "Top Gun: Maverick" and "The Whale", each film scoring four nominations. James Cameron's "Avatar: The Way of Water" only managed to score two nods, for Best Sound and Visual Effects.

Pga Awards Nominations 2023

The nominations for the 2023 Producers Guild of America Awards feature some of the usual suspects, but also a few surprises. The feature film lineup includes "Avatar: The Way of Water", "The Banshees of Inisherin", "Black Banther: Wakanda Forever", "Elvis", "Everything Everywhere All at Once", "The Fabelmans", "Glass Onion", "Tar", "Top Gun: Maverick" and "The Whale".

The 34th Annual Producers Guild Awards will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Sag Awards 2023 Nominations

SAG-AFTRA has revealed the nominations for the 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild awards. The nominees for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture are "Babylon", "The Banshees of Inisherin", "Everything Everywhere All at Once", "The Fabelmans" and "Women Walking".

With five nods apiece, "The Banshees of Inisherin" and "Everything Everywhere All at Once" have tied the record for most nominations, previously set by "Shakespeare in Love", "Chicago" and "Doubt".

In the lead actress race, the nominees are Cate Blanchett, Michelle Yeoh, Viola Davis, Ana de Armas and Danielle Deadwyler, while for lead actor we have Austin Butler, Colin Farrell, Brendan Fraser, Bill Nighy and Adam Sandler

In the television categories, the nominees are "Better Call Saul", "The Crown", "Ozark", "Severance" and "The White Lotus" for drama, and "Abbott Elementary", "Barry", "Hacks", "The Bear" and "Only Murders in the Building" for comedy.

The SAG Awards show will air on Netflix's YouTube channel this year and then move to the streamer in 2024. The ceremony will take place Sunday, February 26, at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The dino adventure flick "Jurassic World Dominion" stormed the box-office this weekend and crushed all competition. "Top Gun: Maverick" was forced to take a step back, but is still doing solid business and held on surprisingly well against the dino onslaught.

Marvel's "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" dominated the box-office in its sophomore weekend, but took quite a fall. Meanwhile, the Stephen King adaptation "Firestarter" opened in theaters and tanked.

Weekend Box Office Fantastic Beasts The Secrets Of Dumbledore

The new Wizarding World movie "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" opened in theaters this week, and while it dominated the box-office, it delivered a disappointing franchise-low debut. Sony's Mark Wahlberg movie "Father Stu" also opened in theaters, but failed to make an impression.

Meanwhile, Michael Bay's "Ambulance" continues to disappoint, "Everything Everywhere All at Once" continues to impress, a new Indian film makes it into the Top 10, and Warner Bros' "The Batman" crosses a new milestone.

Weekend Box Office Sonic The Hedgehog 2

The North American box-office was almost completely dominated by the video game adaptation sequel "Sonic the Hedgehog 2", which even managed to surpass the original film's debut performance. Michael Bay's new action thriller "Ambulance", however, delivered a disappointing opening weekend, signaling bad things for the future of non-franchise action films. Also, A24's "Everything Everywhere All at Once" expanded nationwide and scored some interesting numbers.

"Everything Everywhere All at Once" is a darkly comic sci-fi film written and directed by Dan Kwan & Daniel Scheinert.

Michelle Yeoh stars as a Chinese-American woman, being audited by the IRS, who discovers that she has the power to exist in parallel universes and must help prevent the destruction of them all.

The film is produced by MCU helmers Anthony and Joe Russo, and it also stars Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis.

"Everything Everywhere All at Once" opened in select theaters on March 25, 2022, and expanded nationwide on April 8, 2022.

The superhero movie "Morbius" dominated an otherwise uneventful weekend at the box-office, but it didn't exactly break any records. Meanwhile, A24's "Everything Everywhere All at Once" broke into the Top 10, offering some impressive numbers at the specialty box-office ahead of its wide expansion next weekend.

New Trailers: THE LOST CITY, BIG GOLD BRICK, CLEAN, YOU WON'T BE ALONE, EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE and BRAZEN

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The adventure comedy "The Lost City" starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe.
  • The psychedelic satire "Big Gold Brick" executive produced by Oscar Isaac and Kristen Wiig. The cast includes Andy Garcia, Emory Cohen, Megan Fox and Lucy Hale, with a guest appearance by Isaac. The film is written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Brian Petsos, who previously helmed a few short films that starred Oscar Isaac.
  • The crime thriller "Clean" starring Oscar winner Adrien Brody, who also produced and co-wrote the film. The cast also features Glenn Fleshler, Michelle Wilson, Richie Merritt, Chandler DuPont, John Bianco and RZA.
  • The horror film "You Won't Be Alone" starring Noomi Rapace ("Prometheus") and Anamaria Marinca ("4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days").
  • The sci-fi/fantasy adventure film "Everything Everywhere All at Once" starring Michelle Yeoh.
  • Netflix's mystery drama "Brazen" starring Alyssa Milano, based on the suspense novel series by Nora Roberts.
