A new season of the cult television series "Mystery Science Theater 3000" has been released by Netflix on November 22, 2018. The new season is titled "The Gauntlet" and it finds Jonah (Jonah Heston) and the bots (Baron Vaughn and Hampton Yount) subjected to a devious new experiment: a back-to-back marathon of six hilariously cheesy -- and riffworthy -- films. Patton Oswalt and Felicia Day co-star.

MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 New Season Trailer and Images

The cult classic 1990s series "Mystery Science Theater 3000" is making a comeback via Netflix with a brand new season. The show was revived by creator and original host Joel Hodgson with the help of a successful Kickstarter campaign, and the new season's 14 episodes, the show's first episodes since 1999, will be available on April 14th, 2017.

The cast will include Jonah Ray, Patton Oswalt, Felicia Day and the voices of Hampton Yount and Baron Vaughn as robots Crow and Tom Servo, respectively. Expected cameos include Jerry Seinfeld, Joel McHale, Neil Patrick Harris and more.
