The first trailer and poster for the indie drama "Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes" have been released. The film is the story of a a troubled girl (Kaya Scodelario), who becomes preoccupied with her mysterious, new neighbor (Jessica Biel), who bears a striking resemblance to her dead mother. Emanuel unwittingly enters a fragile, fictional world, of which she becomes the gatekeeper. The trailer is intriguing, and it's hard to grasp exactly what the "fictional world" might be. I like a trailer that surrounds the story in a cloud of mystery. The film also stars Alfred Molina, Frances O’Connor and Jimmi Simpson. "Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes" premiered at Sundance. No release date has been announced, yet.
