"From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series written by Arata Shiraishi and illustrated by Uodenim. The anime is directed by Hisashi Ishii ("The Unaware Atelier Meister") at studio EMT Squared, with series composition by Deko Akao ("WITCH WATCH") and character designs by Hideki Furukawa ("Ayakashi Triangle").
The voice cast includes Shuichiro Umeda, Reo Osanai, Haruka Shiraishi, Hiroki Tochi, Emiri Kato and Daisuke Hirakawa. The opening theme song is "+Encount" performed by Flow, and the ending theme song is "Dōkei" performed by TrySail.
"From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage" premiered on Crunchyroll with a streaming debut on June 25, 2026, ahead of its July 1 television broadcast in Japan.
