The Killer Must Kill Again 1975 New On Bluray

Product Description: Luigi Cozzi's cult giallo thriller The Killer Must Kill Again arrives in a complete and restored 50th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray + DVD Deluxe Edition with booklet and (3) postcards.

Adapted from Giorgio Scerbanenco's novel Al mare con la ragazza and also known as The Dark Is Death's Friend, this 1975 Italian-French co-production blends classic giallo style with a grim and suspenseful narrative. The story follows Giorgio, a greedy adulterer who strikes a deadly bargain with a professional killer to eliminate his wealthy wife, Nora. But the plan unravels when a reckless young couple steals the killer's car, unaware that Nora's corpse lies hidden in the trunk. Their flight takes them to a decaying seaside villa, setting off a tense game of pursuit as the killer closes in.

Directed by Luigi Cozzi, best known for Starcrash, Contamination, and his work with Dario Argento, the film features an impressive cast of genre favorites. George Hilton (The Case of the Scorpion's Tail, All the Colors of the Dark) delivers a smooth yet sinister turn as Giorgio, while Antoine Saint-John (credited here as Michel Antoine), remembered for his haunting roles in The Beyond and Duck, You Sucker, brings icy menace to the titular killer. The film also benefits from the atmospheric cinematography of Riccardo Pallottini and a moody score by Nando De Luca.

Marked by its stylish visuals, unsettling atmosphere, and moments of shocking violence, The Killer Must Kill Again demonstrates Cozzi's flair for suspense and psychological tension. Presented here for the first time in a fully restored transfer, this definitive edition preserves the director's original vision and stands as a must-have for giallo enthusiasts and fans of 1970s Italian thrillers.

The Case Of The Bloody Iris 1972 New On Bluray

Product Description: From a script by the master architect of giallo, Ernesto Gastaldi (THE STRANGE VICE OF MRS. WARDH, ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK, DEATH WALKS ON HIGH HEELS), comes genre director Giuliano Carnimeo's sexually-charged giallo debut (credited as Anthony Ascott), presented here, for the first time, in 4K ultra-high definition.

The gruesome murders of two young women send a shockwave of fear through the tenants of a high-rise apartment building. For photo models Jennifer and Marylin, it presents a welcome opportunity to move in together in one of the emptied flats. But the aura of terror catches up with everyone and soon, Jennifer feels like prey, stalked and targeted by the gloved killer. As her paranoia grows, Jennifer suspects everyone--her fanatic ex-husband, her spinster neighbor, the lesbian from down the hall, and even her boyfriend. But she is determined to stay one step ahead of the depraved killer!

Starring giallo's ultimate scream queen, Edwige Fenech (STRIP NUDE FOR YOUR KILLER, HOSTEL: PART II), alongside George Hilton (THE STRANGE VICE OF MRS. WARDH, THE CASE OF THE SCORPION'S TAIL) in their third collaboration together, "The Case of the Bloody Iris" is "pure giallo fun" (Mondo Digital). With its beautiful cinematography masterfully contrasted by its brutal violence, the film is every bit as exploitative and blood-spattered as it is sultry and salacious, turning it into "a luxuriant banquet of sumptuous visuals, sinister chills, and otherworldly beauty" (Deadshed). Celluloid Dreams is proud to present this newly scanned version, restored in 4K from the original camera negatives. It is the version of "The Case of the Bloody Iris" you've been dying to see.

forgotten-gialli-volume-2-new-on-bluray

Product Description: With the giallo at its peak in the early 70s, it seemed that every filmmaker working in Italy was vying to make one and put their unique creative stamp on this highly popular genre. Presented here are a trio of early 70s gialli, all directed by filmmakers who had never made one before (or after) and all presenting wildly different approaches to the genre's most prevalent trappings.

THE GIRL IN ROOM 2A: After being released from prison, Margaret (Daniela Giordano) goes to stay at a halfway house for female ex-cons, run by the kindly Mrs. Grant. It's not long before she begins experiencing strange happenings in the old house, and things take an even more unsettling turn when she befriends Charlie, who is searching for his sister, who disappeared after staying in the house.

A bizarre giallo directed by American exploitation filmmaker, William L. Rose & produced by globe trotting sleaze impresario, Dick Randall, THE GIRL IN ROOM 2A ('House of Fear' in Italian) plays like an American roughie that's been dressed as a murder mystery. Vinegar Syndrome is pleased to present this in a brand new 2K restoration of its original 35mm camera negative & in its longest and most complete version ever presented on disc!

THE FRENCH SEX MURDERS: Following the brutal death of a prostitute at a Parisian brothel, grizzled Inspector Fontaine (Robert Sacchi) is brought in to investigate. After implicating Antoine (Peter Martell), a petty thief & regular client of the murdered woman, Fontaine believes the case to be closed. However, after Antoine makes a daring attempt to escape, getting decapitated in the process, those affiliated with implicating him begin to meet their own violent ends. Has Antoine's vengeful spirit returned to kill those he believes responsible for his own gruesome fate, or has another, more sinister character been behind these diabolical murders from the very beginning?

A sublimely trashy giallo produced by Dick Randall and helmed by assistant director, Ferdinando Merighi, THE FRENCH SEX MURDERS straddles the line between a clever murder mystery and a distinctly 70s sleaze-fest. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present the world Blu-ray debut of this cult favorite, newly restored from its original 35mm camera negative!

MY DEAR KILLER: After a man is decapitated at a construction site, Inspector Luca Peretti (George Hilton) is assigned to the case. But what initially seems to be an isolated killing soon paves the way for an ever growing number of vicious murders. As Peretti tries to unmask the killer, he discovers that all of the victims were connected to another shocking & unsolved crime - the horrific murder of a young girl.

Directed by Tonino Valerii, MY DEAR KILLER was his sole foray into the giallo genre. The result is a handsomely produced and unrelenting mystery-thriller that revels in clever twists and brutally depicted murders. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present this sleeper masterpiece of prime era giallo cinema on Blu-ray, from a stunning new 4K restoration of its 35mm original negative.
