"Penguin Bloom" is a drama directed by Glendyn Ivin ("The Cry", "Safe Harbour") from a script by Shaun Grant ("Berlin Syndrome") and Harry Cripps ("The Dry") based on the book of the same name by Cameron Bloom and Bradley Trevor Greive. The film stars Naomi Watts, Andrew Lincoln and Jacki Weaver.

"Penguin Bloom" was released in theaters on January 21, 2021 in Australia, and on January 27th on Netflix in the U.S.

"The Cry" is a four-part miniseries directed by Glendyn Ivin ("Safe Harbour") and written by Jacquelin Perske ("Spirited") based on the novel of the same name by Helen FitzGerald.

The series centers on the abduction of a baby from a small coastal town in Australia, an event that becomes the catalyst for a journey into the disintegrating psychology of a young schoolteacher (Jenna Coleman) as she and her fiancé (Ewen Leslie) deal with an unthinkable tragedy under both the white light of public scrutiny and in their private lives. Asher Keddie, Stella Gonet, Sophie Kennedy, Markella Kavenagh and Alex Dimitriades co-star.

"The Cry" premiered on BBC One on September 30, 2018 in the U.K., and in the U.S. on October 23, 2019 on Sundance.

Andrew Lincoln to Star Opposite Naomi Watts in PENGUIN BLOOM
"The Walking Dead" star Andrew Lincoln is set to star in the upcoming drama Penguin Bloom". Based on Bradley Trevor Greive and Cameron Bloom's best-selling book of the same name, the film will be directed by "The Cry" helmer Glendyn Ivin from a script by Shaun Grant ("Berlin Syndrome") and Harry Cripps.

The story is set on the northern beaches of Sydney and follows the aftermath of a horrific accident which leaves the mother of a young family paralyzed. As they learn to adjust to her new situation, an unlikely ally enters their lives in the form of an injured Magpie chick, dubbed "Penguin" by the family. Lincoln will star as Cameron Bloom, the husband of Sam Bloom (Naomi Watts). Jackie Weaver is also on board as the mother of Watts' character.

Andrew Lincoln is best known for starring as Rick Grimes on the hit AMC zombie series "The Walking Dead", which he departed during its ninth season, but since he wasn't killed off, the character is expected to return in several spinoff movies, the first of which will be a theatrical release.

"Safe Harbour" is a four-part Australian miniseries directed by Glendyn Ivin from a script by Belinda Chayko, Matt Cameron and Phil Enchelmaier.

The series follows a group of six friends on a yacht trip from Brisbane to Indonesia, who encounter a broken-down fishing boat overloaded with asylum seekers en route to Australia, which alters their lives forever.

The miniseries stars Ewen Leslie, Leeana Walsman, Phoebe Tonkin, Joel Jackson, Hazem Shammas, Nichole Chamoun, Jacqueline McKenzie, Robert Rabiah and Yazeed Daher.

"Safe Harbour" premiered on March 7, 2018 in Australia on SBS, and on August 24, 2018 in the U.S. via Hulu.
