"Revenge" is a French action thriller written and directed by Coralie Fargeat. The film stars Matilda Lutz as Jen, the mistress of a French millionaire (Kevin Janssens), who flies out to his secluded home in the desert for a weekend together. When his friends, played by Vincent Colombe and Guillaume Bouchède, suddenly arrive for an unannounced hunting trip, Jen ends up raped and left for dead. Unfortunately for them, she survives and has only one relentless, wrathful intent: revenge.
"Revenge" premiered at TIFF in 2017 and received a limited release in theaters on May 11, 2018. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics.
