hap-and-leonard-season-2-mucho-mojo-trailers-images-and-poster

The second season of the "swamp noir" series "Hap and Leonard" premieres tonight on Sundance TV at 10p.

The new season is based on "Mucho Mojo", the second book in the series written by Joe R. Lansdale, and it finds best friends Leonard (Michael Kenneth Williams) and Hap (James Purefoy) stumbling upon a new mystery that involves "a skeleton, Trudy's missing ashes, a pissing match with a neighborhood drug dealer and a piece of MeMaw's fresh baked pie".

The new six-episode season adds Brian Dennehy, Irma P. Hall, Cranston Johnson, Tiffany Mack and John "Spud" McConnell to its cast.

Official Synopsis: A young man in the 1940s raises a family in Alabama after his wife leaves him for an Englishman and moves to England. When the wife dies, she leaves a request to be brought back to Alabama to be buried, and at that point the man hasn't seen her in nearly 30 years. The two families - her original family she abandoned and her English family - meet and make an attempt to adjust to each other, with uneven results.
