Jennifer Garner Joins PARTY DOWN Revival at Starz

Jennifer Garner ("Alias", "Dallas Buyers Club") has recently joined the cast of Starz's "Party Down" revival as series regular. James Marsden ("Westworld") will also appear as a recurring guest star. Other new additions to the cast include Zoƫ Chao ("The Afterparty") and Tyrel Jackson Williams ("Brockmire", "Thunder Force").

Starz ordered the six-episode revival in November. Original cast members Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Jane Lynch, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Megan Mullally are set to return. Lizzy Caplan won't be part of the new season.

Like the original series, the new "Party Down" installment follows a Los Angeles catering team – a sextet of Hollywood wannabes (Scott, Lynch, Marino, Starr, Hansen, Mullally) stuck working for tips while hoping for their "big break". Each episode finds the hapless catering team working a new event – and inevitably getting tangled up with the colorful guests and their absurd lives.

Garner will play Evie, a successful producer of studio franchise movies, who, in the wake of a breakup, is reconsidering her life choices. A fledgling relationship with Henry Pollard (Scott) becomes a way for her to explore possible new directions.

Marsden will play Jack Botty, an actor who plays the lead in a popular superhero franchise. Jack's looks match his charm, he enjoys his life, his fame and being the center of everyone’s attention.

Williams will play Sackson, a handsome, confident, driven, wannabe influencer/internet personality. He's knowledgeable and savvy about his specific internet niche, but a bit lost in every other aspect of life.

Chao will play Lucy, a passionate, outspoken, free-thinking creative "food artist". Lucy dreams of being a celebrity chef, but she's stuck cranking out hors d'oeuvres at Party Down without the resources to do anything more ambitious.

Original series creators and executive producers Rob Thomas, John Enbom, Paul Rudd, and Dan Etheridge are executive producers on the revival, with Enbom serving as showrunner. Scott will also executive produce. Lionsgate Television will produce.

The Man With the Iron Fists

Official Synopsis: Quentin Tarantino presents The Man With the Iron Fists, an action-adventure inspired by kung-fu classics as interpreted by his longtime collaborators RZA and Eli Roth. Making his debut as a big-screen director and leading man, RZA—alongside a stellar international cast led by Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu—tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all.

Since his arrival in China’s Jungle Village, the town’s blacksmith (RZA) has been forced by radical tribal factions to create elaborate tools of destruction. When the clans’ brewing war boils over, the stranger channels an ancient energy to transform himself into a human weapon. As he fights alongside iconic heroes and against soulless villains, one man must harness this power to become savior of his adopted people.

Blending astonishing martial-arts sequences from some of the masters of this world with the signature vision he brings as the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan and as one of hip-hop’s most dominant figures of the past two decades, RZA embarks upon his most ambitious, stylized and thrilling project to date.
