"Left-Handed Girl" ("Zuopiezi nuhai") is a Taiwanese family drama directed by Shih-Ching Tsou ("Take Out") from a screenplay she co-wrote alongside Sean Baker ("Anora"). Tsou was a producer on Baker's films "Red Rocket", "The Florida Project", "Tangerine" and "Starlet". The cast features Janel Tsai, Shih-Yuan Ma, Nina Ye, Brando Huang, Akio Chen and Xin-Yan Chao.
The film was selected as the Taiwanese entry at the 98th Academy Awards, and made the December shortlist for Best International Feature Film. It premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, and was released in select theaters in the US on November 14th, before streaming on Netflix on November 28th.
