The second season of the dramedy series "Blindspotting" premiered on April 14, 2023 on Starz. Created by Rafael Casal & Daveed Diggs., the show is a spinoff sequel of the 2018 film of the same name. The cast includes Jasmine Cephas Jones, Jaylen Burron, Candace Nicholas-Lippman, Benjamin Earl Turner and Helen Hunt.

"Blindspotting" is a dramedy series created by Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs based on the 2018 film of the same name directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada.

The series is set six months after the events of the film. When Miles (Rafael Casal) is arrested, Ashley (Jasmine Cephas Jones), his partner of 12 years, has to move in with Miles' mother (Helen Hunt) and half-sister (Jaylen Barron). Candace Nicholas-Lipppman, Benjamin Earl Turner, Atticus Woodward and Justin Chu Cary also star.

"Blindspotting" premiered on June 13, 2021 on Starz.

"Hamilton" is a musical drama inspired by the 2004 biography "Alexander Hamilton" by Ron Chernow. The film is a live stage production recording of the Broadway musical of the same name created, composed and written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Thomas Kail directs and produces, while Miranda returns in the titular role. The cast also includes Daveed Diggs, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Leslie Odom Jr. and Anthony Ramos.

"Hamilton" was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on October 15, 2021, but was moved up in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and released digitally worldwide by Disney+ on July 3, 2020. .

Directed by Carlos López Estrada, the dramedy "Blindspotting" stars Daveed Diggs as a parolee who has to make it through his final three days of probation for a chance at a new beginning, but the situation becomes complicated when he and his troublemaking childhood best friend (Rafael Casal) witness a police shooting. The two men's friendship is tested as they grapple with identity and their changed realities in the rapidly-gentrifying neighborhood they grew up in.

Casal and Diggs, childhood friends in real-life, wrote and produced the film, which is based on their experiences living in the city of Oakland. The cast also includes Janina Gavankar, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Ethan Embry, Tisha Campbell-Martin and Wayne Knight.

"Blindspotting" premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. The film was released in select theaters on July 20, 2018.
