THE VOID (2017) - Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

The Canadian horror film "The Void" is a hardcore 1980s nostalgia trip in the vein of John Carpenter's classic pictures, and it follows a police officer (Aaron Poole) who tries to protect a group of people inside a hospital from hooded cultists and all kinds of horrible creatures.

The film was written and directed by Jeremy Gillespie and Steven Kostanski, and it also stars Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, Daniel Fathers, Ellen Wong, Mik Byskov and Stephanie Belding.

"The Void" opened in select theaters on April 7th, 2015 after first premiering at Fantastic Fest on September 22, 2016. Reviews for the film have been generally positive.

New THE VOID Teaser Trailer and Poster

Today we have the first official trailer and poster for the old-school horror film "The Void". Written and directed by Steven Kostanski and Jeremy Gillespie, the film aims to "combine the aesthetic attitude of modern horror cinema as it emerged in the 1970s with the splatter and sophisticated practical special effects that ruled the creature features of the 1980s and early '90s." The cast includes Ellen Wong, Kathleen Munroe, Kenneth Welsh, Evan Stern and Stephanie Belding.

"The Void" opens in theaters on March 31st in the U.K.
