Today we have the official trailer, two clips and a batch of images and posters for the 2015 Palme d'Or winner "Dheepan" which begins a limited run in theaters in the U.S. tomorrow.
Written and directed by Jacques Audiard ("A Prophet", "Rust and Bone"), the film tells the story of a Tamil soldier fighting on the losing side of a Sri Lanka civil war who decides to take his family to France, where they can begin a new life away from the devastation of war. France, however, doesn't prove to be the peaceful haven they hoped for, and the makeshift "family" finds themselves in the midst of another kind of violence on the mean streets of Paris.
The cast features Jesuthasan Antonythasan, Kalieaswari Srinivasan, Claudine Vinasithamby, Vincent Rottiers and Marc Zinga.
