Created by Julie Plec, the show is a spinoff of "The Vampire Diaries" and it follows Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, who is descended from some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines. The cast also includes Aria Shahghasemi, Kaylee Bryant, Jenny Boyd, Quincy Fouse, Peyton Alex Smith and Matt Davis.

The CW's new series "Legacies", created by Julie Plec, is a spinoff of "The Originals", which in turn was a spinoff of "The Vampire Diaries".

The show is set two years after the events of "The Originals" and it follows a new generation of supernatural beings, who attend the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, where they learn to control their abilities and impulses. The protagonist is Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), who is the descendent of some of the most powerful vampire, werewolf and witch bloodlines.

The cast also includes Aria Shahghasemi, Kaylee Bryant, Jenny Boyd, Quincy Fouse, Peyton Alex Smith and Matthew Davis.

"Legacies" premiered on October 25, 2018 on The CW, and received mixed reviews from critics.

THE ORIGINALS Season 5 Trailers, Promos, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Poster

The fifth and final season of the vampire series "The Originals" premieres tonight, April 18, 2018, on The CW at 9p.

Created by Julie Plec, the show is a spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries" and it stars Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Candice King, Phoebe Tonkin, Jaime Murray, Claire Holt, Charles Michael Davis, Jedidiah Goodacre, Yusuf Gatewood, Danielle Campbell, Riley Voelkel, and Steven Krueger.

Plec announced last year that there is another spin-off in the works that will focus on the character Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), the daughter of Klaus (Morgan) and Hayley (Tonkin). The pilot episode will begin filming in the second quarter of 2018, and will star "The Vampire Diaries" alum Matt Davis.
