"The Plague" is a psychological drama written and directed by Charlie Polinger in his directorial debut. The cast includes Everett Blunck, Kayo Martin, Kenny Rasmussen, Lucas Adler and Joel Edgerton. The film premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section. In the US it opened in select theaters on December 24, 2025, and on February 3, 2026 it was released on digital platforms.
