"American Son" is a drama directed by Kenny Leon ("A Raisin in the Sun") from a script by Christopher Demos-Brown based on his own Broadway play of the same name. The film stars Kerry Washington and Steven Pasquale as an estranged couple who reunite in a Florida police station to help find their missing teenage son. Jeremy Jordan and Eugene Lee co-star.
"American Son" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released on November 1, 2019 via Netflix.
