"Klaus" is an animated Christmas film directed by "Despicable Me" and "Smallfoot" writer Sergio Pablos from a script by Zach Lewis and Jim Mahoney.
The film is Netflix's first original animated feature and it tells the story of Jesper (Jason Schwartzman), a postman on the frozen island of Smeerensburg, who befriends reclusive toymaker Klaus (J. K. Simmons), and their unlikely friendships brings back laughter, forging a new legacy of generous neighbors, magical lore and stockings hung by the chimney with care. The film also features the voices of Rashida Jones, Joan Cusack, Will Sasso and Norm Macdonald.
"Klaus" premiered on November 8, 2019 on Netflix.
