"You and I Are Polar Opposites" is a new amime series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kocha Agasawa. The anime is directed by Takakazu Nagatomo ("SHOSHIMIN: How to become Ordinary" episode director) at studio Lapin Track, with series composition by Teruko Utsumi ("Sarazanmai"), character designs by Mako Miyako and music by tofubeats ("The Concierge").
The opening theme song is "Megane o Hazushite" ("Lose the Frames") performed by Noa, and the ending theme song is "Pure" ("Pyua"), performed by Pas Tasta featuring Eriko Hashimoto. The voice cast includes Sayumi Suzushiro, Shogo Sakata, Anji Iwata, Kokoro Ōmori, Wataru Katoh and Miyuri Shimabukuro.
"You and I Are Polar Opposites" preiered on January 11, 2026, and also streams on Crunchyroll. The English dub was also released and it features Celeste Perez, Brandon Acosta, Van Barr Jr., Hannah Alyea, Cassie Ewulu and Sarah Roach.
