krampus-2015-new-on-dvd-and-blu-ray

Product Description: Legendary Pictures' Krampus, a darkly festive tale of a yuletide ghoul, reveals an irreverently twisted side to the holiday. When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family's home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.

In Theaters: Krampus, The Letters, Macbeth, MI-5

This week in theaters, well, not much is happening. For those looking to catch some big blockbusters, all I can say is: "not yet". We do have an assortment of smaller films of good value. First off is the Christmas horror comedy "Krampus", a solid offering from the director of "Trick'r'Treat". Also in wide release is the Mother Teresa biopic "The Letters" which critics did not love so much, but could prove inspirational enough for the holidays. In limited release you can choose between the Palme d'Or nominated Shakespeare adaptation "Macbeth", or the British spy thriller "MI-5". More about each movie after the jump.

Synopses, details, critical reception, trailers, clips and more after the jump.

Krampus (2015) Movie Clips, Featurettes, Images and Poster

The horror comedy "Krampus" co-written and directed by Michael Dougherty opens today in theaters, so here are some new clips, featurettes, images and a poster.

The story of a young boy (Emjay Anthony) whose dysfunctional family gets to meet the holiday demon Krampus has been received with generally mixed reactions from critics, but while this movie isn't as strong as the director's previous holiday affair "Trick 'r Treat", it's still a fun genre flick.

The cast also includes Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, and Alison Tolman.

Krampus Movie Trailer, Images and Poster

Universal and Legendary Pictures have released the first trailer, images and poster for the horror comedy "Krampus". Co-written and directed by Michael Dougherty ("Trick 'r Treat"), the film tells the story of a young boy (Emjay Anthony) whose dysfunctional family makes Christmas a living hell for him. Little does he know that the previous statement is about to take a literal meaning when Krampus, a demonic force of ancient evil, is awakened by the lack of festive spirit and it is ready to unleash its wrath on all non-believers. Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, and Alison Tolman co-star.

"Krampus" opens in theaters on December 4th.
