LANDMAN Renewed For Season 3 At Paramount+

Taylor Sheridan's hit drama series "Landman" has been renewed for a third season at Paramount+. The second season started airing on November 16, 2025, and the fourth episode airs on December 7th. The season premiere of "Landman" scored 9.2 million viewers in its first two days of availability, an increase of 262% over the series premiere.

The show stars Billy Bob Thornton as oil company fixer Tommy Norris, who struggles to navigate the difficulties of the business while also balancing responsibilities to his family. In Season 2, Tommy finds himself at the breaking point as he faces mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the shadow of his kin. The show also stars Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Sam Elliott, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.

Taylor Sheridan co-created and executive produces the series alongside Christian Wallace. David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Christian Wallace, Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Stephen Kay also executive produce alongside Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch for Imperative Entertainment, and J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly. Tommy Turtle serves as co-executive producer. "Landman" is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Sheridan's Bosque Ranch Productions.

LANDMAN Season 2 Trailers, Featurette, Images and Poster

The second season of the drama series "Landman" has premiered on Paramount+ on November 17, 2025. Created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, the show is inspired by the latter's podcast series "Boomtown", and it stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chaves and Kayla Wallace. Season 2 newcomers include Andy Garcia and Sam Elliott.

LANDMAN Season 2 Casts Sam Elliott

Oscar-nominated "A Star Is Born" and "Road House" star Sam Elliott has been cast as a series regular on the second season of Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ series "Landman"

Season 2 is currently in production in Texas. Details about Elliott's role are being kept under wraps. The cast includes returning cast members Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.

Elliott and Thornton both appeared in the 1993 film "Tombstone", although they only shared one scene, and also worked together in the Paramount+ series "1883", the first of Sheridan's Yellowstone" prequels.

"Landman" was created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace based on the podcast "Boomtown", and it deals with both executives and field workers in the West Texas oil business. Sheridan and Wallace executive produce along with Thornton, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Stephen Kay.

Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch for Imperative Entertainment also executive produce along with J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly. Tommy Turtle serves as co-executive producer. The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions.
