Product Description: Eleven-year-old orphan Félicie (Elle Fanning) has one dream to go to Paris and become a dancer. Her best friend, Victor (Nat Wolff), an imaginative, exuberant boy with a passion for creating, has a dream of his own to become a famous inventor. In a leap of faith, Victor and Félicie leave their orphanage in pursuit of their passions. But there's a catch: Félicie must pretend to be the child of a wealthy family in order to gain admittance to the prestigious and competitive Opera Ballet School in Paris. And with no professional dance training, she quickly learns that talent alone is not enough to overcome the ruthless, conniving attitudes of her fellow classmates, led by the devious Camille Le Haut (Maddie Ziegler) and her wicked mother, Régine (Kate McKinnon). LEAP! (BALLERINA) Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

The animated film "Ballerina" ("Leap!" in the United States) tells the story of an 11-year-old orphan girl (voiced by Elle Fanning), who dreams of going to Paris and becoming a ballerina. With the help of her best friend (Dane DeHaan and Nat Wolff in the U.S. version) with a dream of his own, she flees to Paris where she passes for someone else in order to gain admittance to the prestigious and competitive Opera Ballet School in Paris.

Directed by Eric Summer and Eric Warin, the film also features the voices of Maddie Ziegler, Carly Rae Jepsen, Terrence Scammell, Bronwen Mantel, Julie Khaner, while the American version also features Mel Brooks and Kate McKinnon.

"Leap!" was distributed by The Weinstein Company in the U.S. where it opened on August 25th, 2017, after being pushed back several times. It received mixed reviews from critics and had a lukewarm box-office debut, grossing $4.7 million in its opening weekend.

Box-Office Report: HITMAN'S BODYGUARD Holds At #1 During Catastrophic Box-Office Weekend

The action-comedy "The Hitman's Bodyguard" is still #1 in its second week in theaters, but can't really brag about it as this past weekend has been the worst in over 15 years. New arrivals "Birth of the Dragon" and "Leap" are among the casualties.
