The dramatic thriller "Live Cargo" is the feature film directorial debut of Logan Sandler and it tells the story of a grieving couple, played by Dree Hemingway ("Starlet") and Lakeith Stanfield ("Get Out"), who retreat to a small Bahamian island to try and heal, but end up entanlged in a dangerous turf war between the island's mayor (Robert Wisdom) and a greedy human trafficker (Leonard Earl Howze).
"Live Cargo" premiered in competition at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival where it was nominated for the Best U.S. Narrative Feature Jury Award. It received a limited release in theaters on March 31st 2017 and received mixed to negative reviews from critics.
