"Iron Wok Jan" is a new anime series based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shinji Saijyo, which was serialized in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion from 1995 to 2000, with 27 volumes published in Japan.
The anime is directed by Ei Aoki ("OVERTAKE!") at studio TROYCA, with series composition by Makoto Uezu ("KONOSUBA"), character designs and chief animation direction by Masako Matsumoto ("ALDNOAH.ZERO") and music by Tomoki Kikuya ("BOCCHI THE ROCK!").
The opening theme song is "Kaen" ("Fire Banquet"), performed by Genin wa Jibun ni Aru, while the ending theme song is "Naita Akuma" ("The Devil Who Cried"), performed by Emunimini.
The voice cast includes Kikunosuke Toya, Ikumi Hasegawa, Kohei Amasaki, Kenjiro Tsuda, M・A・O, Takahiro Sakurai, Taishi Murata, Yusuke Kobayashi, and Masuo Amada .
"Iron Wok Jan!" premiered on July 5, 2026 and streams on Crunchyroll.
